Reimagine package

Having previously collaborated with the owner on designing her family home, I was honoured to be invited back to design her company’s new headquarters. Stepping into a completely empty, dated and structurally disjointed building, I was handed a beautifully open brief: 'We trust you'.

To achieve a seamless flow between work zones, we began by making structural changes, removing an internal wall to unlock the full potential of the floor plan. We stripped back the tired interior and repainted it in a fresh, light colour scheme to maximise the natural light flooding through the windows, celebrating the character of the original wooden parquet flooring in the process.

Our aim was for the office to feel less like a traditional commercial space and more like a warm, 'collected' home. Inside, we layered soft textures and natural woven elements alongside a mix of modern work surfaces and antiques. The boardroom table was a secondhand find, and was lovingly restored by our team.

Rather than avoiding colour, we intentionally introduced cheerful accents through custom metal lockers, striking artwork, an expansive boardroom rug , balancing grounding sage greens with playful notes of pink, blue and yellow.

Functionality and flexibility were key, so the layout was designed with multiple breakaway zones for informal meetings, collaboration or quiet downtime. These flexible spaces extend outdoors with a repaired and furnished balcony — the perfect retreat for team lunches or outdoor calls.

The final result is a highly functional workspace that perfectly balances corporate utility with a creative, homely feel.
